1. What We Do

cs2trustfactor.com is a free CS2 Trust Factor estimation tool. When you enter a Steam ID or profile URL, we query publicly available data from Steam, FACEIT, and Leetify APIs to generate an estimated Trust Factor score. We do not require login, registration, or any personal credentials.

2. Data We Access

We only read data that is publicly accessible:

  • • Steam public profile: username, avatar, account age, CS2 hours, Steam level, game count
  • • Steam ban status (VAC/game ban) — publicly visible on any Steam profile
  • • FACEIT ELO and level (public profiles only)
  • • Leetify stats (aim, utility, positioning ratings — public profiles only)

We cannot and do not access: private profiles, passwords, Steam inventory (unless public), match history from Valve servers, or any Steam account credentials.

3. Data We Store

We do not store any personal data on our servers. All processing is done in real time and discarded after the request completes. The following data is stored only on your own device (browser localStorage):

  • • Your last 5 searched profiles (avatar, name, score) — you can clear this anytime
  • • Your language preference
  • • Previous Trust Factor scores for comparison (stored per Steam ID)

We also maintain a temporary in-memory feed of the last 5 public queries visible to all users. This resets on every server restart and contains no private information.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Vercel Analytics to understand site traffic. These services may collect anonymized usage data such as page views, session duration, country, and device type. No personally identifiable information is transmitted. You can opt out of GA4 via browser extensions.

5. Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics may set third-party cookies for analytics purposes. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free.

6. Third-Party APIs

We communicate with Steam Web API, FACEIT Open API, and Leetify API. Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We only make read requests to publicly available endpoints using your Steam ID.

7. Security

All traffic is served over HTTPS. We implement Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, and other security headers. API endpoints are protected by rate limiting (max 10 requests per minute per IP).

8. Children

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
